Roberto Tonzanu Roberto Tonzanu was born in Sassari in Northern Sardinia, he came to London in 1998. Roberto worked with celebrity Chef Gennaro Contaldo,for six years, before returning to Sardinia to work as the Head Chef for the Rossopomodoro group. Roberto transferred back to London taking the role as Head Chef for the same group in Notting Hill.

Since then he has worked at the Passione Restaurant as Sous Chef alongside chef Mario Magli, brothers Alessandro and Dario Mele restaurant as head chef at the Tenore restaurant and Head Chef at Fiore D'Olivo restaurant in Golders Green.

Roberto's mission is above all to show the best of Sardinian cuisine in dishes with unique flavors and colours with the best products of Sardinian gastronomy, so people can really enjoy The Taste Of Sardinia. Try the menu at Trattoria Luigis and see for yourself!
